We visited Hidden Grove for the first time with our boys this past weekend and were amazed by the beauty of the forest. What an amazing thing you are doing to make this accessible to us all and the new wheelchair trail is an inspiration. We have recently bought a cabin in the area so this is our new home and we know that this spot will become very special for our family growing up. We met Michael who told us all about what is going on and we would love to come and volunteer one time even though we're most often up at the weekends. Thank you and we look forward to enjoying this hidden beauty for many years to come. :D

Just discovering you all & this place of beauty. We shared our Barn Guest Cottage with Michael D. in July, where he told us about this magical place.
We have the Elfinwood Sanctuary here in Oregon.

22 August 2010 - My sister and I came from Manitoba for our first visit to the Sunshine coast. We had Hidden Grove on our list as a destination we wanted to hike. We were not disappointed. The map we picked up at the start was really helpful. Thank you for maintaining these beautiful trails for all to enjoy. Your efforts do not go unnoticed as we appreciate the work you have put into preserving another one of Canada's natural habitats. We plan to visit again to enjoy these serene and well marked trails.

10 October 2008 - Thank you for all your hard work. My family loves this spot and support any efforts to conserve it. What is the story of the bench at Viewpoint, and could you add a photo of the plaque's beautiful sentiment?

6 September 2006 - Love the trails. The message plaque on the bench carries such a beautiful message I get shivers every time I read it! Curious though about the bark being chopped at and then (i assume) torn up from the side of some of the trees? Is this not harmful, and what is the reason? Thanks to those who put in the efforts they are much appreciated. Gotta add also, although the new sign is nice I really liked the feel of the old one, seemed less corporate.
Webmaster comments: For information about the tree stripping see the website page on the Sechelt Indian Band.
