ABOUT HIDDEN GROVE NOW
Once the community was assured that logging would not go forward (circa 2009) in this wonderful area, the community was able to begin work to develop the Grove as a prime natural recreational area. With the help and coperation of many supporters and residents (see the Donor page for some listings) work has proceeded each week often for 2 days in a week steadily since 2009.

SOME RECENT PROGRESS
Check out the email notices to the work party members to give you a flavour.
For early 2012 it is all about the Handicap Trail so go to that page.

HOW THE WORK PARTY "WORKS"
(See above link for SPECIAL Handicap Trail Work)
Unless conditions are so dire that no work party is remotely possible, the party gets together once a week (CURRENTLY WEDNESDAYS) from about 9 AM to 11:30 with a break for coffee and cookies.

All registered volunteers receive an email (usually on the night before)  confirming the party is on and giving an idea of what work is contemplated and where to meet.

You bring a shovel or whatever tools you think appropriate and have fun! YES - fun. It is a great social gathering as well as a wonderful community contribution.

You show up when you can - no marks off for missing a gathering - and do what you can.

(PS.
Always looking for new cookie treats!)
